
Our Team
Fredy Conde Huallpa, native Quechua Speaker and 50 year-old professional tour guide, Rudyt Huaman Roman 38 year-old professional tour guide and Native Quechua speaker born on Salkantay mountain are the HQCC directors. Maximo Apaza Q’espi 28, Aurelia Apaza Machacca, 25 and Karina Machacca Q’espi 22, all born in Hatun Q’eros and recent university graduates with degrees in tourism and hotel administration, serve as HQCC staff.

Fredy Conde Huallpa
Fredy Conde Huallapa was born in Cusco, but raised in the Lares Community speaking Quechua as his first language, and he is 50 years-old. He is a professional tour guide and was the first “Andean Mystical” tour guide authorized by the Tourism Authority. Fredy has worked with Wiraqocha Foundation for more than 20 years, is our Quechua to English translator extraordinaire for our Global Paqo School, and is manager at the Hatun Qeros Cultural Center in Cusco.

Rudyt Huaman Roman
Rudyt Huaman Roman is from Santa Teresa on Salkantay mountain and is 38 years-old. She is a fluent Quechua and Spanish speaker working as a professional tour guide for 20 years. She is a manager of the Hatun Qeros Cultural Center.

Karina Q'espi Machacca
Karina was born in the community of Challma Chimpana and is 23 years-old and has graduated with a degree in Hotel management. Karina was raised in her mother language of Quechua, and speaks Spanish and English. She is one of our youngest weavers in the community and works at the Hatun Qeros Cultural Center in Cusco. She is the niece of GPS Faculty Paqo Juan Q'espi Calcina

Aurelia Apaza Machacca
Aurelia from the community of Q’ollpa Kuchu is 25 years old, with a degree in Hotel administration and accounting. She is a native Quechua speaker along with Spanish and English. She is one of our younger weavers of the Hatun Q’eros community. Aurelia currently works at the Hatun Qeros Cultural Center in Cusco. She is the daughter of world reknown Q'ero Paqo Don Francisco Apaza Flores a founding faculty member of GPS.

Maximo Apaza Quispe
Maximo is from the community of Q’ollpa Kuchu, he is 30 years old and has a degree in Adventure and Eco-Tourism. He is a native Quechua speaker, along with Spanish and English. He works at the Hatun Qeros Cultural Center. He is the son of world reknown Paqo Juan Apaza Flores a founding faculty member of GPS.
